Heart Pancakes

The 3rd recipe of Romantic February has met you :) The winner of Hotpoint Tea Maker and Toaster by finding the most creative name for our 2nd recipe was “Elif Ademir” with the name “Puff Puff Beats My Heart”.
The most important point to consider when preparing your pancakes is that the ingredients are at room temperature. Another important point is that the pan is pre-oiled and sufficiently heated.
Pancakes are thicker than pancakes, evenly spreading and forming a circle can sometimes be a problem. If the dough is not evenly distributed in the pan, scoop it out and pour it into a medium-sized pan, if necessary, gently press with the bottom of the ladle to spread the dough to fit on the surface of the pan. (For this, it is enough to make circular movements on the dough you pour with the bottom of the ladle.)
Finally, while preparing your pancake, you can serve it with chocolate or fruit sauce without using food coloring if you wish.

Ingredients for Heart Pancake Recipe
for pancakes:
- 2 pieces of eggs
- 1 water glass flour
- 2 soup spoons of cocoa
- 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- Half a teaspoon of powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 tea spoon salt
- 1,5 glass of whole milk
- 1 packet of vanilla or 2 teaspoons of vanilla flavoring
- 2 tablespoon of grape vinegar
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring
- 4 tablespoons of butter (from our grocery store)
For the inner cream
- 200 g labneh
- Half a teaspoon of powdered sugar
How to Make Heart Pancake Recipe
- Mix the dry ingredients together for the pancake and sieve so that there are no lumps.
- In a separate container; Mix milk, egg, vanilla, vinegar, food coloring and melted and cooled butter. Create a pool in the middle of the dry ingredients, pour the wet ingredients in the middle and mix with a hand mixer.
- Lightly oil the preheated pan. Take 1 ladle of the pancake batter and bake until the top is eye-catching. Turn the other side over and cook for another 15-20 seconds.
- To prepare the cheese mortar, beat the labneh and powdered sugar with the Hotpoint Multifunctional Hand Blender at low speed.
- When all the pancakes are cooked, cut them with heart shaped molds in the size you want.
- Put cheese mortar between the pancakes. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and serve.

Hello, I cook and photograph. It's not just about the lens and the camera. Light and technical knowledge are important. You can even shoot with a cell phone if you have good food and good lighting. I'm using Nikon, the lens is 60mm macro.
