Breakfast Fried Dough (Yeast Dumplings)
Hello Dear Friends,
Our family favorite flavor of Eid breakfasts is fried dough. Although unleavened bagel is also loved, leavened has a different place. My mother used to go to the bakery and buy raw bread dough. He used to call in for lunch after frying while we were playing with our friends in the street. We couldn't get enough of it with cheese, olives and watermelon :)
I have been preparing this recipe for breakfast for 2 days. It is full in size and tastes better than the bread dough we bought from the oven. It does not contain eggs or yogurt, so yeast, flour, water, salt and very little sugar are enough.
I don't have a standard glass in my cup sizes as I am in the summer house right now. Normally, my 1 glass of water is equivalent to 115 grams, but the glasses here are larger. So I weighed the flour and water.
For my followers, I also measure with a glass, but weighing gives the best results without exception.
Let's come now Other tricks you should follow while frying doughFirst of all, the dough requires a lot of oil. In other words, you should add clean oil up to half of the pan you will fry.
Another important trick is to warm the oil well, if the oil is not heated well, the dough will not both rise and absorb oil.
Finally, you should fry the dough by turning it over. When one side is tied in a turban, turn the other side. When that side is tied with a turban, the other one... If you fry it like a golden yellow one like this, you will have legendary bagels.
Love…
