Those who follow me know that my favorite meal is breakfast. Actually, I like to use breakfast ingredients in different ways rather than breakfast. Whenever I have time, I try to discover those bite-size delicacies that will give me the most pleasure, without being lazy.

Many of us can skip breakfast with pastries or pastries or even a cup of coffee (I used to do that before my stomach hurt). While doing this, our excuse is lack of time because it is really impossible to set a breakfast table every morning, especially for our employees. It is tempting to sleep 10-15 minutes more instead of having breakfast. Sometimes the materials in the house do not look good to us individually. Meh! Now we pass it off by saying I don't want to eat them, and we even have breakfast and lunch together.

Yes, all that I have written so far are things we do… I work from home office, that is, from home. I mean, if there's no shooting or meeting outside, I don't have to rush to get ready in the morning. You can say this is a curse from a good point of view :) Anyway, working from home is really a topic for a separate article with its pros and cons… (Still, for those who say, “Oh, you work from home, if you have a child, you'll be able to raise it.” Let me put a thumbs up here ^^)

Recently, I have started to prepare breakfasts that I can enjoy without interrupting my work (at least while checking social networks), even if I am at the computer. At this point, my favorite recipe was breakfast wraps…

I'm one of those who love classic breakfasts, but recently after tasting the wraps prepared by a friend, I started to try different alternatives. For example, I take out some things from the recipe below and add dried figs, apricots and different sauces. My favorite sauce pesto done :)

As you know, lavash breads are different now… Normal, whole wheat and grain options are also available. Moreover, if these lavash are stored in their own bag in the refrigerator, they last for 1-2 weeks without getting stale. If it is difficult to prepare in the morning, you can make your wraps and stretch them and take them to work freshly. If you are on a diet, etc., you can divide the wrap you prepared into 2 and consume it during the day.

Ingredients for Breakfast Wrap Recipe

  • 1 lavash
  • 1 slice of full-fat feta cheese or Tulum cheese
  • half cucumber
  • half a tomato or 2-3 cherry tomatoes
  • green or black olives
  • 2 leaves of lettuce
  • 2 leaves of arugula
  • optional parsley and dill
  • optional olive oil

How to Make Breakfast Wrap Recipe?

  1. Slice cucumbers, tomatoes and cheese.
  2. If you are going to use lettuce and arugula, wash and moisture the other greens.
  3. After you put all the ingredients you will add on the counter, put the lavash in a hot pan and heat it for 5-6 seconds to soften it.
  4. Spread the ingredients in the middle of the lavash. Season with salt and olive oil, if desired.
  5. Slightly fold the two ends of the lavash towards the middle (right and left are sufficient, the important thing is that the ingredients don't spill when it comes to wraps) and roll.
  6. Whether you want to serve immediately, or wrap it airtight with cling film and put it in the refrigerator.
  7. If you are going to store it in the refrigerator and do not want it to be very humid, you can remove the seeds of the tomato and cucumber.
