Chicken Breast with Kadayif

For the Chicken Breast:

  • 1 liter milk
  • 125 gr.margarine
  • 1 water glass flour
  • 1 spoon of starch
  • 1,25 water glass milk
  • 1 piece of gum mastic fortune telling
  • 1 package of plain whipped cream

for the top;

  • 250 gr fresh kadayif
  • 100 g margarine
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

How to Make Kadayif Chicken Breast Recipe?

  1. First, we break up the wet kadayifs with our hands and open them. We put the oil in a teflon pot and melt it.
  2. After it melts, we throw our kadaifs little by little and add sugar on top.
  3. We mix the kadaifs from time to time until they turn golden, add the walnuts last, keep them on the stove a little more, and leave them to cool.
  4. We melt the oil in the chicken breast, add the flour and starch and fry it until the smell of flour comes out.
  5. We add our milk and mix it quickly.
  6. After the flour is dispersed, we throw our sugar and gum and continue mixing.
  7. When it thickens and starts to boil, turn off the stove and pour our whipped cream into it and cook with a mixer for 5 minutes. we mix.
  8. We spread half of our kadayif evenly under our debt.
  9. We pour our chicken breast on it and cover it with kadayif again.
  10. We put it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to freeze.

    Thank you for the recipe, Ms. Nilay, first of all, I just made the recipe, but I wish we hadn't added sugar to the kadaifs... the sugars seem to be on top in a crystalline way and it was too sweet. The sugar was too much :( I made it for my guests, I can't make it up anymore :(

    What is 1.25 cups of milk? either 1 glass or 1.5 glasses.
