Hello Dear Friends,
There are only a few days left until the new year and we still haven't made a plan. It looks like we will meet this year at home, just like the previous ones, when I received a full shot in 2-3 places I called last night. As a matter of fact, it is a separate problem to set off on such special days and to return at night. More for a nice New Year's Eve to spend at home with the family. to the menus I prepared before I took a look at it. If I get the chance this year, I want to prepare a new menu with different recipes, but it's fate :)

New Year

semolina balls recipe On Reyhan's blog I liked it a lot when I saw it. Made with coconut. I prepared before snowmen too Since it has coconut, I decided to make a slight change in the recipe and used biscuits. I increased the sugar a little according to our taste.

  • 8-10 tablespoons of granulated sugar
  • 1 packaged vanilla
  • 1 pack of powdered whipped cream (if you get 2 packs in the box, use 1 pack)

For the above:

  • 22-25 hazelnuts (almond, pistachio optional)

How to Make Semolina Balls (Biscuit) Recipe?

  1. Put the milk in the pot. Add granulated sugar, semolina and vanilla to it and cook on medium heat, stirring until it gets a thick pudding consistency.
  2. Take the semolina pudding off the stove, add the whipped cream to the pot and mix it well. Refrigerate, stirring occasionally, until it reaches a temperature that will not burn the hand.
  3. Rondado the biscuits and take them out on a plate. Take 1 tablespoon of semolina from the whipped cream you have prepared, and roll it into a ball in your hand by covering it with biscuits as in the photo.
  4. Serve by placing 1 hazelnut in the middle and arranging it on a serving plate.

The image is very nice, but what I don't understand is if I add the whipped cream while the semolina mix is hot, will it get watery? Or will the whipped cream be added after cooling?
It's good to ask before you try :)
    Thank you

You put the whipped cream in powder form without whipping it with milk. Since you add dry material to the mixture, it is not watered. Yours sincerely

The glass I use is 200 ml, but I think the custard is too soft, I think half a kilo of milk is enough in total, I kept it in the freezer for a while because I had difficulty in rolling it.

I made the recipe in two measures tonight, it was amazing. Everyone loved it. My advice to friends who do not keep the consistency is to use a normal small water glass (150-200 ml) for milk, to make 8 full spoons of semolina. Tşk..

But because I was impatient and didn't wait for the beer to cool down, it just turned out to be disfigured, but it tastes great. I think it's easy, practical and delicious for our employees, it's also ideal for emergencies..

    love :)

hello, the recipe looks very nice. I'm wondering something. Do you use any flour? Does the pudding thicken without using flour?

We use semolina instead of flour. The semolina gives a dense consistency.
