Ice Cream Wet Cake
Wet cake was one of the invariable flavors of the day in my childhood. Of course, my mother, who doesn't like these kinds of things, would open Kayseri ravioli on hand whenever she had a day (I adore cakes, folks like ravioli). I guess that's why I am fond of pastries, who can only have a chance to eat cake and cookies at the neighbor's.
Anyway, let's get to today...
I started making parcels seriously in the morning. At one point, I was so taken aback that I realized that I hadn't put anything in my mouth for hours around 16:00 pm. I took my wet cake, which I prepared and rested well, out of the refrigerator and rewarded myself with ice cream. It sure felt like medicine :)
Now I poured 1 cup of tea and started to write the recipe to relieve tiredness…
See you…
Ingredients for Ice Cream Wet Cake Recipe
- 3 pieces of eggs
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 water glass milk
- 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- 4 soup spoons of cocoa
- 1 water glass measure of oil
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 packet of vanilla
- 2,5 water glass flour
For the cake mold:
- 1 teaspoon of margarine, 2-3 tablespoons of flour
For decoration:
- 1 teaspoon powdered pistachios
- For serving: Ice cream
Fabrication:
- Beat eggs and sugar until foamy.
- In another mixing bowl, mix the milk, oil, sugar and cocoa until there are no lumps.
- Set aside 1,5 cups of the milk mixture you have prepared (we will pour this mixture over the cake after it is baked) and mix the rest by adding it to the eggs you have fluffed.
- Add the flour, baking powder and vanilla and continue mixing.
- Set the oven to 170 degrees. Grease a medium-sized square pyrex with margarine and sprinkle flour on it. Pour off excess flour by turning the bowl upside down and shaking it.
- Bake the cake for 30-35 minutes in the heated oven. Check if it is cooked with a toothpick before taking it out of the oven.
- Take the baked cake out of the oven and wait for 3-4 minutes for the temperature to drop.
- Pour 1,5 cups of sauce over the sliced cake. When the sauce is completely absorbed, sprinkle pistachios on it and serve with ice cream.
it looks very nice i will try it too..!
While making this recipe, wet the knife after the cake is cooked, slice it and pour the sauce like that, so the sauce is better.)
the consistency and taste of the cake is really great.. after all my wet cakes that are not wet, finally a wonderful wet cake recipe!!
I wouldn't eat wet cakes because of that raw egg sauce….This recipe is just for me..
You wrote sugar 2 times, Ms. Nilay, does it matter with which measure of sugar the eggs will be whipped? :))
Hello Berna, the egg will be whipped with 1 cup of sugar. The other to add to the sauce.
