Güllaç with Ice Cream Pudding
When you say it's coming, it's coming, Ramadan starts this week. Of course, before the start of Ramadan, we started the preparations for Ramadan. My first ice cream recipe for this beautiful upcoming month is Güllaç.
Many of us avoid eating Güllaç just because of rose water. Since I am one of them, I think and prepare alternative recipes as much as I can. Long time followers my apple rosella balls will remember.
I think this year will be the hottest Ramadan I've ever had. Therefore, this year, I will try to prepare my iftar and sahur recipes as lightly as possible.
Our Gullac with Ice Cream Pudding is a perfect summer recipe... As practical and light as possible...
This year, 2012 Ramadan menus can also take their place on my blog. But last year's menus Ramadan menus by visiting the category.

Ingredients for Güllaç Recipe with Ice Cream Pudding
- 1 pack Vanilla Pudding
- 2,5 water glass milk
- 1 cup crushed walnuts
For Güllaç:
- 10 gullac leaves
- 1 liter milk
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 scoop of Chocolate Ice Cream per slice
Fabrication:
- Make the vanilla pudding according to the recipe and set aside to cool (stir occasionally to avoid crusting).
- Heat the sugar and milk by mixing them in the sauce pan, remove from the heat when the sugar is completely melted.
- Put the first leaf of Güllac in a large, medium-sized bore (it will overflow from the edges, so break the edges and lay it inside). Take 1 ladle of milk and wet the leaf little by little. Do the same for all 5 leaves.
- Spread the pudding you prepared on the Güllaç leaves and sprinkle the walnut pieces. Lay the remaining 5 leaves on them one by one and wet them with milk.
- Take the Güllaç you have prepared in the refrigerator and let it rest for 1 night.
- Before serving, garnish with pistachios and fresh fruit and serve with 1 scoop of ice cream.
It is an incredibly enjoyable dessert to eat……
Enjoy your meal..
Hello, I'm making this recipe for after iftar today, even right now.
I made your pudding, it's getting cold, I'm heating the milk :)
I hope it will be as good as the leak. I have never eaten gullacı before. It wasn't a dessert I've ever made. but this different recipe would interest me, let's see how it will turn out
