Hello Dear Friends,

Although we are a bit stunned in Istanbul because of the stubborn spring, we can at least consume spring vegetables fresh. For now, I'm comforting myself with this, but I'm not breaking down from the inside :)

When I saw the fresh artichokes and broad beans in the street market yesterday, I bought some right away. Since I like chicken with artichokes and broad beans, I decided to take chicken with it.

Devran, my friend from the old cooking school, was with us in the evening. We opened whole chicken together, a post I've wanted to add to the culinary school section of my blog for a while (I'm still writing, by the way, will add it as soon as possible). After opening the chicken, we decided to grill it in a cast iron pan. Next to it, we prepared artichoke sauté with broad beans, the recipe of which I will write down now.

The recipe is light, practical and quite tasty. I like broad beans and artichokes, but if you want softer, you can add a little more water after you have drained the juice. If the chicken and artichoke sauteed with beans is light for you, you can serve it by boiling some pasta.

Ingredients for Baked Artichoke Saute Recipe

  • 4 peeled and cleaned artichokes
  • 100 fresh broad beans
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 spoonful butter
  • half a glass of water
  • salt & pepper

How to Make an Artichoke Saute Recipe with Deep Legumes?

  1. Finely chop the artichokes. Peel the carrots, cut them in half and finely chop them lengthwise. If you bought the pods, sort and wash the broad beans.
  2. Take the olive oil in the pan, add the artichokes and saute. Add the butter by adding the broad beans and carrots to the artichokes that are starting to turn yellow.
  3. Saute for 2 minutes on medium heat, stirring. Add water and turn down the stove.
  4. Add salt and pepper and cook until the water evaporates. Serve hot or warm.
