Ingredients for Hummus Recipe

  • 300 g chickpeas (soaked overnight)
  • Half a cup of tahini
  • Boiling water of half a glass of chickpeas (can be added little by little depending on the density)
  • Half tea glass of olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • Juice of 1 lemon (half as per your taste)
  • 2 pinch of salt
  • 2 teaspoon of cumin
  • 2 teaspoon of ground red pepper

Fabrication:

  1. Drain the chickpeas you soaked overnight and put them in the pot.
  2. Add enough water to cover it by 2 fingers and boil it until it becomes soft.
  3. Put the garlic in the food processor. Add the chickpeas you bought with a strainer on top and run the robot.
  4. When the chickpeas are shredded, add some chickpea juice, olive oil, lemon juice and tahini to the robot.
  5. Restart the robot by adding salt, cumin, and paprika.
  6. Check the consistency and taste from time to time, add lemon juice, olive oil and tahini according to your taste.
  7. Serve the mashed hummus with olive oil and ground red pepper.
