Here is a delicious hummus recipe that will add both flavor and color to your table!

Tips:

For a smoother hummus, don't forget to add 1-2 ice cubes to the blender. 

You can adjust the consistency of the hummus as you wish by adding the chickpea boiling water little by little.

For 3 cups of boiled chickpeas, soaking 1,5 cups of chickpeas overnight is enough.

Bagels on the side, lavash chips or you can make a great presentation with crackers!

Hummus – Ingredients for Salad Wreath Hummus Recipe

For the hummus:

  • 3 cup boiled chickpeas
  • Half a cup of tahini
  • 1 cup of chickpea boiling water (to be added little by little depending on the density)
  • Half tea glass of olive oil
  • 1 large cloves of garlic
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1-2 teaspoons of salt
  • 2 teaspoon of cumin
  • 2 pieces of ice (for a smoother consistency)

Salad ingredients:

  • 5 cherry tomatoes, 
  • 1 small cucumber 
  • 1 small red onion
  • 2 pinch of parsley
  • 3-4 tablespoons of pomegranate seeds

Fabrication:

  1. For hummus, place the chickpeas, garlic, spices, lemon juice, tahini, olive oil and chickpea water in the bowl of a blender. 
  2. After running it for 1-2 short cycles, add the ice and run it until you reach a smooth consistency. You can add a little more chickpea water if necessary.
  3. Let the hummus you have prepared rest in the refrigerator for half an hour.
  4. Chop the salad ingredients into small pieces. Decorate the hummus that you spread on the plate.
  5. 5. Serve with bagels, lavash chips or crackers.
