How to Make Hot Wine at Home?
Hello dear friends,
With the arrival of December, we have opened the mulled wine season. I have a great recipe that you can quickly prepare on cold winter nights, whether with a pleasant movie or book, or for your friend invitations.
A delicious mulled wine prepared for us tonight by dear Fuat, one of Swissotel's former bartenders. Since the wine was heated on very low heat, it took the aroma of all the fruits and spices without being cloudy. You can increase your hot wine by adding 1 liter of wine to the following measurements.
Note: We also add 1-2 cardamom and 1 star anise in the last period.

How to Make Hot Wine at Home? Ingredients for the Recipe
- 1 liter table wine
- 2 orange
- The skin of 1 apple and half of the peeled apple
- 3 cinnamon stick
- 15 cloves
- 2 dried figs
- 2 dried apricots
- half a glass of granulated sugar (may increase or decrease according to taste)
- Optionally, 2-3 strawberries and 1 red beet can be added.
Fabrication:
- Peel the peel of one orange, stick the cloves into the orange peel.
- Squeeze the orange you peeled and the juice of the other orange.
- Peel the skin of the apple, remove the core and cut into cubes.
- Cut the apricots and dried figs into 2 parts.
- Put the orange juice and wine in the pot, add the sugar and start heating on low heat.
- Add the ingredients you have prepared to the pot, heat on low heat for 15 minutes until it reaches the boiling point and serve hot. (If you have a digital degree, it will be enough to heat it up to 75 degrees)
Quince peel also gives a very nice aroma.
We will definitely try it, thanks for the suggestion :)
Should the mulled wine be consumed immediately or can it be heated and drunk the next day?
If it waits, it may feel a little heavy because its aroma will be much more intense. I think it would be better if you store it after straining.
I also prepared it according to your recipe. It was very nice. I had regular wine and blueberry wine at home, I mixed the two. Drinkers loved it. Thanks.
I prepared your recipe for Christmas. Me and my family loved it. Thanks for the recipe.
