You know that I was one of the jury members of the star of the kitchen competition last month. The 10 recipes that made it to the final were prepared for us by the competitors for 2 days and presented to us. That's when I decided to try some of the recipes, each more beautiful and delicious than the other. The snow that fell all day reminded me of these delicious coconut delights, the snowmen as Mine was named.

creamy coconut balls

These stylish Turkish delights were a wonderful treat to accompany Turkish coffee. I made some changes to the recipe. For example, instead of powdered sugar or granulated sugar, I used the meringue left at home by crushing it with my hand. Also, I didn't have to apply chocolate to stick the beads, as I left the marshmallows a little more moist.

I think sugar is ideal, but sugar may be low for some, so I recommend you to adjust the amount of sugar according to yourself by tasting it from time to time while kneading the dough. In addition, it would be better to have some more coconut on hand, as there may be changes in consistency due to material differences.

Finally, next to this recipe Turkish coffee except hot chocolate You can prepare and serve.

Ingredients for Coconut Balls (Snowman) Recipe

  • 3-4 cups of coconut
  • 1 cup + 1 coffee cup powdered milk
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 200 ml raw cream (Box milk cream)
  • 2-3 tablespoons of labneh cheese
  • Pretzel to keep balls on top of each other

For decoration:

  • Small colored cake beads
  • 2-3 packs of bonbons
  • 2 dried apricots or 2-3 slices of carrots

How to Make Coconut Balls (Snowman) Recipe

  1. Beat the sugar and cream for 3-4 minutes until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add labneh, 3 cups of coconut and powdered milk and knead. Keep adding coconut, little by little, until the dough is a rollable consistency.
  3. Make large and small balls and drizzle in coconut.
  4. Divide the pretzel along the lengths of the coconut balls you stacked. Take the part that will form the body of the snowmen on the serving plate, stick the pretzel and fix the head by placing the other ball on it.
  5. Make snowmen's eyes and buttons with cake beads. Attach noses by cutting tiny triangles out of apricot or carrot.
  6. Serve with bonbondon caps on. (If the hat does not stick, stick it with cream or labneh.)

my daughter's teacher made this from puff pastry, she took some colored candy in the form of a hat that was transferred to her eyes, and chocolate, that was transferred to her mouth in a bonbon press, she made a hat and wore it on garbage skewers, it looked very practical and fun, which was nice but time consuming

I'm going to make the snowman today. Do we put 3 glasses of coconut on the dough and separate the other 1 glass from the outside? Also, if I do it on a Friday night, will it break into the daytime?

friends, let me answer my own question, I did it on Friday, it was great.. They turned into stones on Saturday. You need to cook and eat it on the same day. Also, 3 glasses of coconut is enough, it leaves a very intense taste in the mouth.

But don't worry.. It should be consumed within 1-2 hours. Otherwise, the coconuts will swell and leave a dry taste in the mouth.

mrblar. I made this recipe and it was very good. But since I couldn't find powdered milk, I used 1 pack of powdered whipped cream instead. It was 15-16 pieces.

Hello, 1 package of whipped powder is less than 1 glass of milk powder. That's why it's less.

Hello, your recipe is amazing. I'm going to make it for Christmas, but you say, beat this sugar and cream for 3-4 minutes until the sugar melts, you say, let's cook it on the stove or whisk it with a mixer.. I don't quite understand, can the cream be raw or uncooked? I hope I can do well. Thank you very much for your recipe. Happy New Years..

Hello, there is no baking in this recipe. We melt it away. What we call raw cream is the pasteurized box cream that is already sold in the markets. Love…
