Ingredients for Carrot Jam (Winter Jam with Ginger)
- 500 g carrots
- 2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tea glass of water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3-4 cloves of dried cloves
- 1 heaping teaspoon of fresh ginger
- 2-3 pieces of lemon peel
- Juice of 1 lemon
How to Make Carrot Jam (Winter Jam with Ginger) Recipe?
1. Peel and grate the carrots.
2. Add sugar, lemon peels, cinnamon, ginger and cloves to the carrots you bought in the pot and mix for 2 minutes.
3. Close the lid of the pot and wait for half an hour to let the water out.
4. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add water and cook for 25 minutes with the lid closed.
5. Add the juice of 1 lemon and boil for another 2-3 minutes and remove from the stove.
6. Close the jar tightly while it is hot.
