poppy cake

A very beautiful cake from Ayşe Gülen.
Ingredients for Poppy Cake Recipe
- 1 water glass milk
- 1/3 cup hash
- 1 tablespoon of lemon zest
- 1 and a half cups of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup of oil
- 2 water glass flour
- 2 and a half teaspoons of baking powder
How To Make Poppy Cake Recipe?
- Mix the milk, poppy and lemon zest and leave in the refrigerator for at least an hour or until the next day.
- Beat egg and sugar until fluffy.
- Continue whisking the liquid in a thin stream.
- Sift flour, baking powder.
- Add all the ingredients to the dough by adding a little flour and a little milk mixture.
- It will be a runny dough.
- Tap the dough into your greased, floured muffin tin.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for about 60-70 minutes.
- Be careful not to open the oven door while it is cooking, it may go out (if it comes out clean when inserted with a toothpick, it is cooked)
