Poppy Donuts
Release Date: 17-01-2008
My dear colleague Elvan's mother made poppy buns for us, well done. I got the recipe for this delicious bun for you.
Of course, the old ones make dishes based on a more judgmental decision. For this reason, I tried to describe it as much as I could, let's enjoy it.
Materials:
- 1.5 glasses of water (warm)
- 1 packet of fresh yeast
- 1 teaspoons of sugar
- 1 tablespoons of vinegar
- 2 sweet spice salt
- 1 kilo of flour
- 1 egg yolk (for the top)
Ingredient:
- 1 cup poppy (crushed)
- 1 tea cup oil
How to Make Poppy Bun Recipe?
- Dissolve 1 packet of yeast in 1.5 glasses of water. Pour the dough into a wide and deep bowl and make a hole in the middle, add the melted yeast, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, 2 teaspoons of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar and knead (you can add a little more water to make it soft)
- Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise for 2 hours. Roll out the dough as thin as you can.
- Make a roll by spreading the poppy and olive oil stuffing on the dough. Divide the dough you have rolled into the desired length with the help of a knife and wrap it by turning.
- Arrange the donuts on a lightly greased tray. Cover the tray with a kitchen towel and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Brush them with egg yolk. Bake for half an hour in a preheated 200 C oven.
