Ingredients for Poppy Wreath Muffin Recipe

  • 3 water glass flour
  • 1 water glass milk
  • 3 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Half a teaspoon of granulated sugar
  • small pinch of salt
  • 1 package baking powder

For between:

  • 4-5 tablespoons of black poppy

For the above:

  • 1 egg yolk
  • Granulated sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil (for greasing the mold)

How to Make Poppy Wreath Bun Recipe?

  1. Take the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt and sugar into the mixer's bowl. Attach the hook of the mixer and mix a little.
  2. Add milk and olive oil and knead a full dough first at low speed and then at medium speed. (2-3 minutes is enough)
  3. Take the dough you have prepared on your kitchen counter. With the help of a rolling pin, open it to be a square of 30×30 cm.
  4. Spread the poppy paste on the dough you opened and roll it.
  5. With the help of a sharp knife, divide the roll you prepared into 2 parts lengthwise and wrap them together as in the photo.
  6. Grease the cake mold generously, place the dough in it and connect the ends of the dough.
  7. Brush the egg yolk onto the dough. Sprinkle with granulated sugar and bake in the oven at 190 degrees for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
