Goulash (Attack Period Recipes)

Goulash is one of the traditional dishes of Hungary, when I started the Dukan diet, I went to town to stock up on attack phase proteins for 4 days. Of course, when I said it was chicken, I decided to buy beef goulash, which is the leanest meat in my eyes.

This recipe is normally prepared by mixing butter and oil, but I cooked it in a cast iron pan and did not add any oil. You can consume onions and garlic during the attack phase, but without exaggeration, so it is better to flavor your meat with spices.

Today I started the Cruise, that is, the vegetable + protein phase. I have a lot to write, but I haven't had the opportunity yet. I hope my post will be with you during the day.

Ingredients for Goulash (Attack Period Recipes)

  • 300 g beef goulash
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 cloves of garlic
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • dry mint
  • optional dried mint and cumin
  • red pepper
  • 3 glasses of water (add more hot water if needed)

You can add 1-2 tomatoes in the cruise phase.

Fabrication:

  1. Put the meat in a pot and fry it on high heat until it releases its juice. Add the chopped onions and garlic and fry until they turn pink.
  2. Add all the spices except salt and put the water on it.
  3. Cook on low heat until the meat is tender. (it takes almost 1,5 hours)
  4. When the meat is tender, add salt and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
  5. Serve with chopped onion and parsley, if desired.

    Greetings :) I'm one of those who went through the 1st day of the dukan attack period today. I'm 60 kilos, I want to be 52 but right now I'm sick to my stomach, I guess I'm not used to protein, I guess this much. Since I'm a student, today is a beer fudge, but I didn't break the rules :) I ate some yogurt at noon, I cooked chicken in the oven in the evening, but I don't have oat bran yet, I ordered from the internet, so I'm still hungry :p Fortunately my 1st day is over but :)

    hello, it's been 11 days since I started the dukan diet, I had an attack for four days, and then I got my period. I weighed 65 kilograms, but there hasn't been much change yet. I'm currently in the cruise phase. I'm doing it in the form of 1sp/1ps. Should I continue like this or do I need to do something else, my goal is 57 kilos. Thanks in advance.

    Hello there;

    I am one of the dukan sellers :))) today is my 4th day. and I gave 2 gr. Of course, I don't know what the scale will show tomorrow morning. I have a lot of hair. But after seeing it with my own eyes and witnessing it, I said to those who lose weight with this diet, I should try it. A very close friend of mine lost 800 kilos in 2 months. Also, a doctor friend of ours lost 10 kilos in 4 months. However, the only rule is never to go out of the list. I say easy for those who are just starting out. I wish patience to those who continue. Think about it, maybe we will have a hard time until we lose weight, but then we eat whatever we want, only with protein day one day a week without gaining weight.. it's like a joke, but anyway, since we started, there is no stopping without seeing the end… I will report the results to you here in the coming days.     In a word, you are doing a great job, so much so that you encouraged me to start the Dukan Diet with the recipes you provided. I just started today. My goal is to lose 10 kilos and I plan to complete the attack phase in 4 days. I also bought my lean proteins including oat bran today :)) I haven't had the opportunity to buy the book yet, but I will have the book before the attack phase is over, so I had a question for you. Does the book mention foods such as nuts and dried fruit as snacks for the attack phase or later?

      Hello Ms. Ece, I'm happy to say it first :) And then I'll give you bad news. Absolutely do not eat nuts as a snack, because it is quite oily. I think only Goji Bery, also known as Wolfberry, is allowed with sugar in dried fruits. There is no fruit for a long time, you can consume diet yogurt or milk when you are hungry, there are also diet fruit yogurts, you can consume 1 of them in a small package.
