Ingredients for Fresh Beans with Olive Oil Recipe

  • 1 kg of green beans,
  • 2 medium onions,
  • 2-3 large tomatoes,
  • salt,
  • 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar,
  • half a glass of oil,
  • 2 glasses of water,

Instructions

  1. After the washed beans are sorted and sliced ​​in half, place them in a saucepan and put the finely chopped onion and coarsely chopped tomatoes on them.
  2. Add salt, sugar and olive oil. Close the lid of the pot. Cook over low heat for about 20 minutes until the beans change colour.
  3. Lift the lid and add 2 cups of hot water.
  4. Close the lid again and cook on high heat again.
  5. When the food is cooked, remove the pot from the heat. Let it cool without opening the lid.
  6. As desired, when the beans are warm or completely cooled, transfer the dish to plates and serve warm or cold.
