He got the recipe from the lady of the house where he was a guest when he went to Kastamonu. The soda dessert is crunchy and pleasantly flavored. These measures come out sweet enough to fill 1 medium baking tray.
Those who want can roll the dough by spreading walnuts or hazelnuts between it after spreading the oil.
We pour the hot syrup into the dessert when it reaches its initial temperature for 1-2 minutes after it comes out of the oven.

Ingredients for Soda Dessert Recipe
- 3 medium egg
- 1 cup soda (plain soda)
- Half a pack of fresh yeast (20 g in a square box)
- 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil (for brushing the dough)
- flour as much as it takes (about 3-3,5 cups)
Sherbet:
- 6 glass of water
- 5 cup of granulated sugar
- 3-4 drops of lemon juice
How to Make Soda Dessert Recipe?
- Take 2,5 water glasses of flour into the kneading bowl, start kneading by adding 3 eggs, soda and yeast in the middle.
- Add flour little by little and continue kneading until you get a dough that won't stick to the hand or to the bowl.
- Divide the dough you prepared into 3 pieces and rest it for 15 minutes by covering it with a cloth.
- Roll out the first meringue on the floured counter with a thickness of 5-6 millimeters. Roll the dough you have opened by applying oil with the help of a brush.
- Place the dough you sliced 1,5 cm thick on the greased baking tray.
- Apply the same process to the other doughs and place them on the baking tray without compressing them too much.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until golden brown.
- While the dessert is cooking, bring the syrup to a boil. Add lemon juice to the condensed syrup, boil it for 2 more minutes and remove from the stove.
- After resting the sweets coming out of the oven for 1-2 minutes, pour the hot syrup over them with the help of a ladle.
- Let it rest until it comes to room temperature and absorb the syrup and serve by sprinkling with hazelnut cracks.
