The weekend has come. When we say meetings and new works, time flew by like water. I was one of the speakers in the panel on “Social Media” organized within the scope of Web Days'11 held within the body of Yıldız Technical University Informatics Club on Wednesday. I am truly honored.

sweet toast

I wanted to share a recipe where people like me, who are lost in the chaos of the days, wake up on the morning of the holiday and add color and flavor to their days.

I made french toast from home made brioche bread. You can prepare it using toast bread or the oven bread you know.

Since the oven bread is not soft like toast or brioche, it cannot absorb the egg mixture easily, so I recommend thinly slicing it.

If you want to pamper yourself, I recommend adding 1 scoop of ice cream next to the fruits.

Love…

Ingredients for French Toast Recipe

4 slices of bread
4 pieces of eggs
1,5 – 2 glasses of milk (depending on the thickness of the bread)
4 tablespoon of granulated sugar
salt with the tip of 1 teaspoon
1 packet of vanillin with sugar

To fry:

Butter

For presentation:

Fresh or dried fruits and honey

How To Make French Toast Recipe?

1- Whisk the eggs and granulated sugar in a deep whisk. Add milk, salt and vanilla to the mixture and continue whisking until the sugar dissolves.
2- Put the sliced bread into this mixture. Turn it upside down so that the breads absorb the mixture.
3- Melt the butter in a Teflon pan. Toast the breads on both sides and place them on the serving plate.
4- Serve with fruits and honey.

They do this a lot in beautiful America, but they add corn syrup instead of vanilla.
