In the classic version of this method, medium-sized potatoes are peeled and cut into a cylindrical shape. This is more tedious and most of the potato is wasted. Also while cooking bone broth, chicken water or vegetable broth is being used. If you have water that you have prepared yourself at home, you can add flavor to the taste of potatoes by using it for this recipe. If you want, you can experiment by adding 1 clove of garlic that you crushed when the potatoes start to caramelize.
