Flour Halva
When my mother Asu came to us, she brought flour halvah, which did not come empty-handed. At first I said no, because I was on a diet, but I couldn't stand it at night, I ate 1, it was incredibly delicious :)

Ingredients for Flour Halva Recipe
- 1 packet of margarine
- 2 water glass flour
- nutmeg, walnut or cinnamon for straining
For the syrup:
- 2,5 cup powdered sugar
- 2,5 cups of water or milk
Fabrication:
- Margarine is melted in a saucepan. Add flour and fry it with a wooden spoon until the color of the flour turns dark.
- In a separate bowl, melt the granulated sugar in the water boiled, add the roasted and darkened flour, and continue mixing.
- When it reaches a consistency that will not stick to the wooden spoon, it is taken from the stove and the lid of the pot is closed and rested.
It was my namesake's recipe, but I tried this recipe twice. 1. After giving the syrup, I cooked it so much that it would come together, when it cooled, it was like a stone even harder than the walnut sausage 2. When I cooked it, I took the syrup and closed it immediately, it tasted good, but I couldn't keep the consistency again, I won't give up 3. I will make flour. I don't like halva very much, but the job got in the way

In this recipe, it would be better if it was half with oil and half with margarine. I always make it. It would even be better if a little saffron was added to it .... If you want to prevent it from clumping, sift the roasted flour with a sieve before pouring the syrup, then it will not be lumpy, then pour the sherbet :) but the recipe is nice….good luck with your hands….:))
I put 1 packet of vanillin. It's much tastier, I recommend it :)

I used 1,5 cups of sugar, 200gr of oil, 2 cups of flour and 2 cups of milk.
mrb.. I tried making flour halva for the first time, but I didn't have the chance to be a beginner :) Although I mixed it very well, the flour became lumpy. I think the flour size should be reduced a little because while roasting it was dry like semolina. it should be increased a bit..thank you very much anyway..

Hi Kayra, the only thing you can do to avoid lumps is to roast them until you find the consistency of flour. It's a bit tiring but unfortunately there is no other solution..

You said margarine in the ingredients, but you wrote that butter is melted. There is 2 cups of flour in the syrup. Not everyone knows, can you fix the recipe?
