Bakery Rice Pudding One of the sweets I made for the first time this time last year. When I made it again for our iftar table yesterday, the old days came to life in my eyes. My first attempt is like yesterday in my mind, my blog is just forming and I couldn't wait to share the dessert I made tonight with you. I eagerly await future comments.

egg rice pudding

Despite all the time that has passed, nothing has changed in me, I am excited and looking forward to writing again.

This beautiful dessert reminded me of so many things that I wanted to share my recipe with you again with its new photo.

Love :)

Ingredients for Oven Rice Pudding Recipe

  • 1 liter milk
  • 1 glass of sugar
  • half a glass of rice
  • 1,5 tablespoons of wheat starch
  • a pinch of Salt
  • 1 egg yolks
  • 1 packaged vanilla

How to Make Oven Rice Pudding Recipe?

  1. Wash the rice in 2-3 waters, put it in a medium saucepan, add enough water to cover it and a pinch of salt, boil it on medium heat until it swells and becomes soft.
  2. Separate milk from 1 liter of milk into a small saucepan, add starch and vanilla into it, melt by stirring.
  3. When the rice is soft, add the milk and sugar to the saucepan, stir over medium heat until it boils.
  4. Put the coffee pot on the small stove and mix until the starch thickens.
  5. Add the whole coffee pot to the boiling milk in the pot and cook by stirring for another 5-6 minutes.
  6. Turn off the stove, take 1-1,5 scoops of rice pudding into a bowl and add the egg yolk and whisk.
  7. Divide the remaining rice pudding into small cups, drizzle over the egg rice pudding.
  8. Place the pots on a preheated 200 degree oven tray and bake by adding enough water to reach half of them.
  9. When the rice pudding is browned, take it out of the oven and serve warm or cold.

I used to make it because my son loves rice pudding, we tried it for the first time in the oven, we loved it, I offered it to the guests the same evening, it was finished, I couldn't take a picture, the measurements are perfect, try it easily, thank you.

I can't find wheat starch abroad, is it okay with corn starch? I tried a similar recipe to this recently, with a tablespoon of cornstarch, but it turned out very watery. I was wondering if it was just a tablespoon or was it not getting thick with corn starch?

When we say the grill part of the oven, do we need to operate only the upper part? In my oven, lower, upper and both can be operated.

I followed the recipe exactly, but it was too sugary. Maybe it has to do with the sugar I use. Also, I did not put the starch fully, its consistency was not quite dark. As if I could have had a better result if I had just filled the spoon to the top.

If you put what you're doing now in the oven, it will turn out to be like concrete. You should stick to the measurements in the recipes. Since the rice pudding is cooked in the oven until it is browned, it gets even more dense.

Since it didn't appeal to my taste with too much rice, I added very little rice from a coffee cup. One dessert spoonful of rice flour and 1 tablespoon of starch. If the egg would settle to the bottom, I whisked it with 1 bowl of rice pudding and added it to the pot and divided the bowls that way. The oven should be at 200 degrees on the grill setting.

I tried it for the first time and it was really very nice, I made it in casserole dishes, I recommend not using aluminum bowls to everyone. "Al" is not healthy because it is a heavy metal, you can choose casserole dishes or porcelain souffle cups instead. I put a little more starch without wiping it off and the consistency was very successful for me, I will increase the sugar by 20% next time, when I added the egg mixture, some of it collapsed to the bottom, I think it kept a little cream on it until I added the egg mixture, so it collapsed to the bottom when added. , I think that if we mix the whole egg, it will brown again, next time I will mix it completely and try it.

The recipe is very good. I did, but I wanted to share my own touch as well.
…..I used stick vanilla instead of package vanilla (It gave a serious aroma)
…..I added 200ml Cream to the milk (For a more intense taste)
….. I put the sugar a little less (about 2 tablespoons) and added 1 tablespoon of honey (It would be better if the honey is honeycomb, the combs look beautiful in the rice pudding and I like it when I eat it.
    --------------
(Do not throw away the vanilla sticks you use; you can use it in 2 different ways.
1: In Turkey, these vanillas are sold in tubes. After use, put water in the tube and leave it for 1 week. You will have a very nice vanilla essence, you can use it in all vanilla recipes.
2: Put it in powdered sugar, you will have vanilla sugar.

I also tried your recipe and in general I liked the recipe very much. Based on the comments, I just melted the starchy mixture in the coffee pot without boiling it, heated it a little, then added it to the rice-milk mixture slowly and mixed it. There was no lumping in this way. While adding the egg, I took about 1 soup bowl (2-2.5 scoops) from the hot cooked rice pudding. If you mix it well and put it on the containers, there is no egg smell.

You wrote, 'Reserve milk from 1 liter of milk in a small pot, add starch and vanilla into it, mix and melt', I did this on fire, of course, it came to a consistency in 2 seconds. However, I wish you had melted it, but you would have put it on the fire later. Because it says 'Take the coffee pot to the small stove a little bit below, as if to put it from big to small. Anyway, I was afraid until the hot milk boiled, but it didn't burn anyway, so I turned it off after a while. For some reason, half a glass of rice is too much, it would be better if it was close to half. There should be at least 1 in one egg yolk. to put in the bollard.

When the top of the rice pudding is browned, take it out of the oven, for this, check without opening the oven door. It just needs to be browned as in the photo.

My wife and I did the Black Sea tour last holiday, the man who didn't put milky dessert in his mouth ate baked rice pudding at least 2 times a day. Yesterday I said I'll do it at home, if you like it so much, he said no, you can't do it the same way. It would taste different from the milk, rice, way of cooking, etc. When I said I can do it, a greed came to me. I just went and searched and found your recipe. I will try it as soon as possible, as you can see, this baked rice pudding thing has become a very important issue for me. I will also tell you the results :)

I think you added boiled milk to the coffee pot. the milk will be cold. of course, so that the starch does not clump. If you boil the cezve in a separate place and add it to the paste you boil, there will be no lumps.

I'm thinking of adding 1 more spoonful of starch when I make it next time.
