I had never made cookies before I got married, the first cookie I made is in my mind like it was yesterday :) While making salty cookies, I thought many times if I could make them, and even got a little scared. Now I realize that if you can make basic cookie dough, you can make hundreds or even thousands of types of cookies.

salty cookie, salty biscuit

You can add margarine, oil, mahaleb, vinegar, salt or sugar, and season it with different spices.

If you haven't dared to make cookies until now, you can start with this recipe.

Love…

Materials:

  • 1 pack of room temperature margarine
  • 2 eggs (to be brushed on 1 egg yolk),
  • 1 packet of baking powder,
  • 1 teaspoon salt,
  • 2 teaspoon vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons of yogurt,
  • 1 tablespoon of dried basil
  • flour as much as it takes (approximately 4-5 cups),
  • Fenugreek for garnish

Fabrication:

  1. First, put 3 cups of flour in the kneading bowl and make a hole in the middle with your hand.
  2. Start kneading by adding margarine and all other ingredients to the middle of the flour.
  3. Keep adding flour while kneading the dough, continue the process until the cookie dough you have prepared separates from the kneading bowl and reaches a soft (earlobe) consistency.
  4. Take the dough you prepared on the lightly floured counter and roll it out to 1 cm thickness with the help of a rolling pin. Cut with a cookie cutter of the size you want and place on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. After applying the same process to all the dough, brush the egg yolk on the cookies with the help of a brush.
  5. Decorate the cookies with black cumin seeds and bake them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until golden brown.
