Fajita (Fajitas) is a dish of Mexican origin. When I first ate it, I thought it was the best meat dish in the world. Then I thought why don't I make this super dish at home (I mean, I really love this dish, otherwise I won't think about it that much :) and immediately started to practice.

wok pan

Of course, I drew the recipe based on my previous restaurant experiences. It is not difficult to make, the main rule is to sauté the meat, peppers and onions.
The main point is to serve it with a cast iron pan on a wooden plate, but if you don't have a pan, don't worry, you can serve it on tortilla bread (lavash). I definitely recommend you to try it.

Love…

Ingredients for Fajitas (Fajitas) Recipe

  • 300 gr. beef
  • 300 g chicken meat
  • Bell peppers (yellow, red, green)
  • 2 medium onion
  • vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2-3 tablespoons of vinegar
  • Red pepper
  • thyme
  • tortilla (lavash)

How to Make Fajitas (Fajitas) Recipe?

  1. Season the beef and chicken thinned at the butcher's with salt and pepper.
  2. Peel and finely chop the garlic (you can also grate it).
  3. Take the chopped meat in a large bowl, add the minced garlic, vinegar, all the spices and 1 tea glass of oil and marinate for 2 hours.
  4. Remove the seeds from the peppers and chop them together with the onions.
  5. Put 2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet (wok is good), lightly sauté the peppers and onions.
  6. Remove from the stove when the vegetables are slightly alive before they are fully cooked.
  7. Cook the meat you marinate in the cast iron pan that you have heated.
  8. Put the sautéed vegetables on 2 serving plates. Cut the cooked meat in julienne and place it on the vegetables.
  9. Warm the tortillas, serve very hot with salsa sauce, sour cream and avocado sauce, if desired.

It is possible to cook this dish, which has a great taste and presentation, at home, but if you go to Cyprus, I recommend you to eat it on the patio.

I thought the original fajita was served with very little tequila. I don't know, am I wrong?

I will give you a very simple and real fajita recipe (for 1 person)
1- 250 grams of beef tenderloin (for the meat to be soft and easy to cook) (julienne cut to the size and thickness of our middle finger)
    2- 1/4 teaspoon olive oil
3- 1 small onion (grated juice to come out)
4- 1 clove of garlic (chopped with small cloves or grated)
5- 1 tablespoon of yogurt (in its normal decision)
    6- 1 teaspoon (lemon)
7- 1 teaspoon each of cumin – chili pepper – thyme – black pepper and a dash of salt
8- The most important one is jalapeno pepper (the pepper that gives bitterness to fajita) (it is found in migraine and it is blind)
9- california pepper yellow and red (to be cut in julienne)
    10- soy sauce
11- liquid oil (half a tea glass or an eyeball)
    12- small tortilla bread
    13- onion (small julienne chopped)

    recipe of the dish
Beef tenderloin, spices, lemon, salt, grated onion, garlic, yoghurt, olive oil, we mix them all 1 day in advance and keep them in the refrigerator. Add our meat that we blended with our sauce and cook it, if it's close to cooking, add our jalapeno pepper, julienne chopped onion and optionally (chopped mushrooms) and cook them all, after your eyes are cooked, our food will be ready. Enjoy your meal.

thanks for the recipe, but I ate the chicken in this restaurant..it is much lighter than the meat..it is a hot but very delicious and practical dish..I think instead of fresh onion and parsley, you saute it with strips of onion-colored pepper and chicken. Lastly, pour one of the salsa sauce or one of the special fajito sauces and mix it (I don't know if there are any of these sauces here, but there are abroad) and when it's ready, wrap and serve the special lavash bread.. then you've reached the real fajitas dish.. I tried it, it was super, I think you should try it too!!!

After sautéing the fajitas and sautéing the ingredients, try the soy sauce with a little bit of water for the last time. After taking the soy sauce a little, it is ready for presentation and gives a lot of flavor, and there is a special vayta spice, the room is very nice.

One of the features of fajita is that it has plenty of hot sauce and cocktail, dip and hot sauce.

Take one tortilla in a separate pan and let it fry slightly on low heat. Spread it evenly over the mixture. Add the grated cheddar and cheddar cheese to the mixture. Cover a second totilla over it. After the remaining tottilla is browned, turn it over and fry the other one. Take care. Divide it into four parts and place on a serving plate.

Fajita is a great meal, I ate it out a few times. It tastes as good as it is presented, it comes in smoke like this, everyone in the restaurant is looking at you, you have charisma :) But be careful, the mentioned cast iron pan becomes extremely hot and it's almost time for you to get burned. I burned my arm recently and it still hurts :(
