Ingredients for Ezogelin Soup Recipe
- 1 cup of red lentils
- 1 tablespoon of rice
- 2.5 cups of broth
- 1 onion
- 2 tablespoons of flour
- 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
- 2 teaspoons of mint
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- half a teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of red pepper
- enough water (4 cups or more)
- salt
How to Make Ezogelin Soup Recipe?
- Sort and wash the red lentils and rice.
- Add the lentils, rice, and whole peeled onion and cook until soft.
- If you wish, pass it through a blender or strainer. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small saucepan.
- Add the flour in it. Fry until the flour changes color.
- Pour lukewarm water into it little by little.
- When it reaches the consistency of cream, mix it into the lentils and add it.
- Adjust the salt and bring to a boil.
- Melt butter in another pan.
- Add red pepper, mint and thyme and heat with oil.
- Pour over the soup and serve.
