Ingredients for Homemade Toast Bread Recipe
- 240 ml water
- 60 ml milk
- 60 g soft butter at room temperature
- 6 g instant powder yeast
- 25 gr granulated sugar
- 6 g salt
- 480 gr Flour
How to Make Homemade Toast Bread Recipe?
- Warm the milk and water for 1-2 minutes. (If you have a thermometer, heat it to 43 degrees, otherwise dip your finger in and count for 8-9 seconds. If it's not lit, it's ok)
- Take the heated water and milk into a mixing bowl, add granulated sugar and yeast and mix. Cover it with cling wrap and wait for 5 minutes until the yeast becomes foamy.
- Add 120 grams of flour, butter and salt and knead. Add the rest of the flour little by little in a controlled manner.
- You should have a soft and slightly sticky dough. Stretch over your dough bowl and let it rise until the dough doubles in size.
- Knead the fermented dough by removing the gas and take it to the floured counter. Lightly sprinkle flour on top and roll out the dough as rectangular as the size of your mold.
- Roll the dough on the short side and place it in the mold that you have greased with butter.
- Let the dough rise in the mold until it is puffy (about 40 minutes). Bake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes until the top and sides are browned. (Since the bread is high, if you put it on the middle shelf, the top surface may cook very quickly and burn.)
