Ingredients for Homemade Chicken Doner Recipe

  • 1 kilo boneless thighs 
  • 1 glasses of yoghurt
  • Half tea glass of oil
  • juice of 1 onion
  • 1 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • Half a teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1,5 sweet spice salt

How to Make Homemade Chicken Doner Recipe?

  1. Put the yoghurt, onion juice, tomato paste, oil and all the spices in a deep bowl and whisk.
  2. Coat the chicken thighs with the sauce, wrap them in plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  3. Place the chicken pieces on the counter and roll up the cling film. Roll it up nicely and put it in the freezer.
  4. When you are ready to use it, take it out of the freezer and slice it as much as you want.
  5. Lightly oil the pan and fry the döner slices well.
