How to Make Stuffed Cabbage with Meat? Ingredients for the Recipe

  • 500 g medium fat ground beef
  • 1 tea glass of rice
  • 1 heaping tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon pepper paste (or tomato paste)
  • Quarter bunch of parsley
  • 2 medium onion
  • 1 tea spoon black pepper
  • 1 sweet spice salt
  • Half a teaspoon of oil

For the sauce:

  • 1 heaping tablespoon of tomato paste (mixed)
  • Half a teaspoon of oil
  • 2,5 water glass of water

How to Make Stuffed Cabbage with Meat? How to Make the Recipe?

1. Boil the cabbage in boiling water with salt for 1-2 minutes until it softens slightly.
2. For the filling, chop the onion and parsley. Add it to the minced meat in a large mixing bowl.
3. Add the tomato paste, washed and drained rice, oil, black pepper and salt and knead until completely mixed.
4. Clean the veined parts of the boiled and strained cabbage leaves with the help of a knife. Arrange the veined parts you removed on the bottom of the pot.
5. Slice the cabbage leaves to the size you want to wrap them in. Take some of the meat stuffing and wrap it around the cabbage.
6. Arrange the vine leaves in the pot without leaving any space, repeat this process until all the leaves are gone.
7. Fry the oil and tomato paste in a saucepan. Add water and some salt into it.
8. Add the tomato paste sauce to the pot. Place a plate in the pot to prevent the leaves from opening.
9. Cook over medium heat until it boils, then over low heat until the stuffed stuffing becomes soft (about 1,5 hours).
