Hello Dear Friends,
Beginners in cooking, and sometimes even experienced people, when they take a whole artichoke, think about how to sort it. At home, we all sort artichokes in one way or another, but it usually turns black until we sort it out. However, there are many questions about this subject.

Last week, I went to the market to ask this question to an expert in this business :) Yes, the experts are the market veterans who peel hundreds of artichokes every day :) It peels artichokes so fast that you can't even understand how they sort them.

    This is a completely wrong method because those purple flowers have hairs at the bottom and the beautiful leaves of the artichoke are being crushed.

    * first cut off the stem of the artichoke,
    * card leaves are plucked until a crunchy sound is heard,
    * All the ends of the artichoke are cut transversely from the darkened hard leaves, and the freshest parts of the leaves are in half.
    * The bottom of the bowl is peeled with a knife to get rid of the roots of the leaves,
    * then lemon is applied.
    * Finally, with a teaspoon, purple flowers and bristles are removed without damaging the bottom of the bowl, and this process is done until a lumpy surface like chicken skin remains at the bottom of the bowl.

    Then you can either make dolma or make your white meal with peas or broad beans.
    while eating, start from the leaves first and eat them by scraping them with your teeth, and save the dish for the last to leave a pleasant taste in the mouth :)

    I'm 23 years old and I cook especially artichoke dishes very well, you can destroy such a beautiful vegetable by sorting it as in the picture.

    good work .

      Hello Ms. Sezen,

      If I'm going to use leaves when weeding at home, I use your method. Cooking with leaves is not everyone's preference, but I also like to boil them and eat the leaves with a sauce. Thanks for informations. Love…
