Yesterday opening with mahaleb I mentioned my apple puff cookies in the recipe. I took 1-2 bites to take pictures in the evening, then it tasted so good that I realized that I had swallowed 3 of them before the end of the shoot :)

I think these puff pastries are the best cookies I've ever made. What more could you want a mixture of cinnamon and apple in a puffy puff pastry?

I prepared before from apple pie I threw the leftover apples in the freezer, they made my job much easier when I used them. If it is not difficult, you can use finely chopped apples instead of grater.

I deliberately kept the amount of sugar in the dough low so that when you eat it with the powdered sugar you sprinkle on it, it does not pass out.

When I think of fainting, I think of a "Little Miracle ShopThe book ' has arrived. I finished the book last night, but it was forced (it certainly wouldn't have finished if I wasn't in the habit of reading before going to sleep). In fact, sometimes you get stuck and the pages have flown by themselves, and sometimes you don't want to put the book down and buy it again.

Video Description of the Recipe:

I've wanted to read the book "Eat Pray Love" for a long time, so I stubbornly avoided even watching the movie. Finally got it from my friend last week. To tell the truth, I love fantasy and gripping books like Earthsea, Eragon, or The Hunger Games. But I can't find much on the market these days.

Anyway, I hope my night readings will be a little more enjoyable.

Note: If you are kneading the cookies by hand, not in the machine, and if the temperature of your hand is high, you may have difficulty in keeping the consistency. To prevent the dough from getting too hot and taking in more flour, you can take the yogurt out of the refrigerator and use it cold.

Love…

Ingredients for Apple Puff Cookie Recipe

  • 1 pieces of eggs
  • 2,5 cups of flour (1 more tea cup if necessary)
  • 125 g margarine or butter (at room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon of yogurt
  • Half a cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 package baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla (sugar vanillin)

For inside:

  • cinnamon
  • 3 apples (1,5 is enough if the apples are large)
  • 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar

For the above:

  • Any amount of powdered sugar you want

How to Make Apple Puff Cookie Recipe?

  1. Grate the apples, add the granulated sugar and cinnamon and fry in a Teflon pan until the water is absorbed. Take it off the stove and let it cool.
  2. Knead the dough ingredients either by hand or by attaching the dough apparatus of the mixer. Flour your hands and the counter and form the dough into a ball.
  3. Divide the gathered dough into 4 parts, put it on your floured table, thin it with the help of a rolling pin and cut circles with a water glass or cookie cutter.
  4. Gather the dough remaining from the outside of the circles you cut and knead it again with your hands, cover it and set it aside.
  5. Divide the cooled apple mortar little by little in the middle of the 4 circles you cut.
  6. Cover the remaining 4 pieces on the ones you put the mortar on. With the help of a fork, seal the edges in an airtight manner.
  7. Shape the edges with a fork (make it close better). With the help of a knife, make a small cross-shaped cut on the cookies.
  8. Do the same with the dough you set aside. Arrange all the cookies on the tray 1-2 cm apart.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until golden brown. Serve with powdered sugar on top.

    Hello there
I tried your recipe today, but the amount of flour was written very little, it was a very runny dough, I had to add flour, I think it takes about 3.5-4 cups of flour, I think the size of the glass of water I use is different, I used 200 ml du glass, how many ml is yours, and do you use the same glass of water in all recipes? thanks

Hello Tuna, I freeze the apple cookies I make with other recipes without cooking them, there is no difference at all :)) The ingredients are similar with this recipe, I think this can be frozen in the same way. (I put them on a tray one by one, freeze them and then bag them, this way they do not stick together... I put them in the oven without thawing. )

thanks for the recipe. This recipe of yours has been on my to-try list for a long time. I thought I'd do it tonight, but I was a little inexperienced, the ones I opened were very thin at first, and I forgot that they could be closed with a fork, I pressed them with my hand. The cookies opened slightly, I forgot to put the baking powder anyway. I don't know if the cookies will make a lot of difference, but it still tastes good. it looked like yours except for the serrations on the edge.
So how can we make it more practical by using these materials, I started to think about these cookies, I wonder what it would be like if we opened it in our hands and put the dough like a pastry and closed it in a half moon shape.
    Thanks again, good luck.

By the way, unfortunately, "Eat Pray Love" is one of the books that I eagerly bought and left halfway through. (which I rarely do) so it made me very faint, I couldn't stand it.
