Apple Jam

You know, apples are fruits that spoil very late, my apples have started to shrink slowly when they have been waiting in the refrigerator for a long time. Since I'm home today, I thought I'd give these apples a hand. So I decided to try the apple jam, which has been on my mind since I came back from Ayvalık.

Cinnamon Apple Jam

When I weighed 4 apples at home, it came to 485 grams. After calculating the estimated sugar and water, I started to prepare the jam. I took the apple slicer that I had been at home for a long time and didn't use, from the drawer, and sliced it so easily and neatly that I was angry with myself for not using the apples before.

It is very easy to peel the apples sliced with an apple slicer and divide them into equal cubes, I highly recommend it.

I only used 1 clove of cloves for apple jam, because I don't want it to get in the way of apple and cinnamon flavors.

If you don't have a cinnamon stick, you can also use powdered cinnamon, and you can even sprinkle a little cloves on it while serving.

Love…

Ingredients for Apple Jam Recipe

4 apples – 500 gr
2 cup powdered sugar
2 water glass of water
1 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1 tablespoons lemon juice

How to Make Apple Jam Recipe?

1- Put the sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
2- When the sugar melts, let it boil over low heat and peel the skins of the apples and slice them.
3- When the syrup thickens, add the cloves, cinnamon and apples.
4- Stir 1-2 times and cook on low heat until the apples become transparent.
5- When the colors of the apples change and the syrup thickens, add the lemon juice, mix and boil for 1 more minute.

Hello, I made apple jam for the first time, it was really good. Your measurements are very good. It may be the best apple jam I've ever eaten in my life. If you're afraid, you should try it.

    Hi I'm Tolga,
Ladies, if you want the apple jam to be dark red in color, chop 2 angelic plums or red plums and throw them in while cooking. You will see that the color is in a very pleasant tone.
A small tip is to add a teaspoon of butter when it starts to cook, so that your jam does not get foamy.

If you throw the puerperal sugar, it may not spoil the taste.

Hello, I will apply apple theme on my daughter's birthday. And that's why I decided to make apple jams for our guests as a gift.
But I want the color of apple jam to be red. What do you think, if I add some red liquid food coloring to it? Does it spoil the taste? I'm planning to serve red apple jams in cute jars. Do you think it would be nice?
Could you give me a few tricks? Should I add food coloring after the jam has boiled well?
Thanks a lot for the recipe.

Hello, unfortunately it spoils the taste. Maybe you can use an alternative such as hard candy or cranberry candy, but I recommend cooking a small amount first and testing it for density. Yours sincerely

Hello. I tried your recipe today. I must say that this is my first jam. :) however it was a bit watery. I think 2 glasses of water is too much for this jam. it still tastes really good. I have my own handmade jam in my student house now. thanks for your hard work.

I tried your jam recipe yesterday and it was perfect. It's one of the best jams I've ever eaten. Of course, when I made it myself, it seemed even more delicious :) My wife also liked it very much. The consistency was not dark, I did not want mine to turn too much, so I took it from the stove when the apples turned transparent. But even like this, it's very nice. Since yesterday I go and eat it for dessert :) Thanks for the recipe, my first jam experience, which I made with fear, did not end in disappointment.

As someone who made apple jam for the first time, I was very hesitant, it was very good, but it happened, but it was a little bit :( right now I'm making 2 more time in the form of 1 solids on the stove, I hope it will be as good as the first one, don't be afraid, it will thicken. At 1, I am proud when I make it, make your children eat homemade jam as they eat, sensing that it is not glucose jam :)))

    Betul,
I don't know where you are, but the raspberry and blackberry jam is close to strawberry and is very tasty.
You can also make it from damson plum instead of sour cherry, it turns out to be slightly sour too…

looks nice! Let me ask you something, my wife only likes strawberries and cherries, but since I can't find cherries around here, I can only make strawberry jam, which is not very expensive because of the price. Which jam close to these flavors would be good?
