Handmade Bosnian Pastry
Hello Dear Friends,
Since I'm still on vacation, I skipped the Friday and Monday recipes a bit. But I'll win you over with a wonderful Bosnian pastry recipe that you can easily apply at home :) We kneaded the pastry dough around 6.00:XNUMX, we just opened it and put it in the oven. So while you're reading, we'll just start eating. I don't think we can get any closer to the recipe on smoke :)
Of course, the recipe was given to me by my aunt, who is a true pastry master, with good culinary secrets on how to open it easily. Now let's come to the tricks of the Bosnian pastry recipe…
First of all, the dough you knead should be neither too hard nor too soft. After the Bosnian pastry is cut into meringues, it must be thoroughly oiled and rested for 30 minutes. The lubrication and resting process makes it easier to open. Finally, the kitchen counter must be lubricated. While opening the pastry, there may be small tears from the corners, but it doesn't matter because it will roll.
When you try my recipe, don't forget to share it with me on Instagram :) I would love to share my recipes with your photos in my story :) My Instagram account: @ Mutfaksirlari

- Take 2 cups of flour in a kneading bowl, add oil, vinegar and water on top and start kneading.
- Add the remaining 1 glass of flour little by little to make the consistency easier and continue kneading. (neither too hard nor too soft)
- Divide the dough you prepared into 4 equal parts. Roll out the pieces to the size of a dessert plate with melted butter and let them rest for 30 minutes, covered.
- Take the first meringue on the counter that you have greased with oil, enlarge and thin it by pulling from the edges.
- When it is thin as in the photo, sprinkle the cheese and parsley mortar and make a roll.
- Place the prepared roll on the greased baking tray and do the same for the next 3 meringues.
- When the tray is full, spread the remaining butter on the pastries and bake in the oven preheated to 200 degrees until golden brown.
- Slice and serve the baked pastry when it is warm.
