Ingredients for Roasted Hibiscus Recipe

  • 1 bunch of hibiscus
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2-3 sweet red peppers
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1-2 tablespoons of mixed tomato paste upon request
  • salt

How to Make Hibiscus Roasted Recipe?

  1. Rinse the hibiscus 2-3 times and chop the leaves coarsely and the stems finely.
  2. Chop the onion. Finely chop the red pepper.
  3. Put olive oil in a large saucepan, add the onions and fry until the onions turn pink.
  4. Add the chopped peppers to the onions and continue frying.
  5. Add the hibiscus that you have cut for food 2-3 times in this pot and fry it. (So, after 2 handfuls, kill them by roasting, then 2 handfuls of them again, so it will be easier to roast)
  6. Fry the hibiscus until it releases its juice. Serve warm or cold.

    If you chop leeks instead of onions, pour yoghurt with garlic while it's warm, add some hot chili peppers, you won't be able to get enough of it if you eat it with fried peppers while eating,,,, it contains plenty of minerals other than vitamin C, such as iron, zinc, potassium...
