Hello dear friends, Should I Begin the Dukan Diet? It's been a while since I asked. I read all the comments, positive or negative, one by one. Thank you all for sharing your thoughts and information.

I am reading and doing research on recipes at the same time. As you know, I am fond of taste, it was pancakes, pancakes, etc. Of course, there are many recipes in the book, from beef stew to chicken stew with tarragon.

While I was thinking, there were people who started dieting, and there were even those who were waiting for me to start. I decided to summarize what I read in the book about the attack phase of the book by again mentioning its main elements.

Of course, I went and bought my 0-fat milk and white cheese today. The only thing I'm missing is oat bran, and I think I'll order it online.

It will be difficult not to give up the 2 mug of tea with 1 sugars in the morning, or not to eat the sourdough bread you make yourself, and not to drink 2 glasses when we gather with friends (which is often the case).

My mind constantly says, "Let go girl, if you're overweight, but there is always a bloating that can be felt in the body."

I totally agree with him now because the body says enough is enough.

Anyway, oat bran or not, the big day is tomorrow. I'm going on a diet tomorrow!

As soon as I wake up in the morning, I will weigh myself and calculate my weight again and I will not stop until I lose the extra pounds.

It is said in the book that the worst enemy of a person who starts a weight loss regimen is fat. Whether they are solid or liquid, vegetable or animal, they are strictly prohibited. In logic, you cannot get rid of your own fat while feeding on the fat of a living creature.

Sugar, especially the sugar we use for tea or desserts, is also prohibited. These types of drinks and foods make us feel hungry very quickly because they are absorbed quickly and mixed with the blood.

He says 1,5 liters of fluid consumption per day is sufficient for the excess uric acid that will arise as a result of protein consumption.

Now let's come to the Attack phase and what we can consume in this phase.

Dr. Dukan divided the foods that we can consume in the attack phase into 10 categories. I think it's nice that this distinction allows us to clearly understand what we can and cannot eat.

You can consume foods in these categories with peace of mind. Of course, provided that it is prepared without oil.

Average time for me: Four days (As I said before, calculate your own time here)

Allowed foods:

During this period, which varies between 1 and 10 days, you will have the right to be fed with foods from ten different categories.

You can consume the ones you like from these ten categories, unlimitedly and at any time of the day. You are also free to mix these foods together.

In summary, he said that what is not on this list is not yours and do not eat.

Category One: Lean Meats

- Veal
- Beef
– Lamb (not recommended)

You need to prepare these meats without fat. You can boil it on the grill, in the oven, or in water if you want. You can add spices to meat. Examples of 2 sauces are given, I will write in the next days.

Second Category: Offal

– Liver (not recommended for those with cholesterol problems and I don't like it either)
– Veal and Lamb Tongue (I won't put it in my mouth, so it won't be in my diet)

Third Category: Fish

– Oily Fish (Sardines, mackerel, tuna and salmon)
– Fresh or Frozen (haddock, tongue, sea bream, kidney beans, trout)
– Smoked, Smoked or Dried
– Canned if natural (I think he's talking about home made)

Fourth Category: Seafood

– Crustaceans and Molluscs (shrimp, crab, mussel, lobster, oyster)

Fifth Category: Poultry

– Chicken & Turkey (Every part of the wing can be eaten except the part that does not leave the skin)
– Rabbit (I don't eat alive)

Category Six: Low-Fat or Fat-Scrapped Ham

Seventh Category: Eggs

-It is allowed as solid, poached, omelette. If you want fresh or dry spices, you can add seafood or products from other categories.

- 1-2 eggs a day is ideal, of course, it should be fresh and not overdone.

Category Eight: Skimmed Dairy Products

  • Yoghurt
  • Feta cheese
  • Other Dairy Products

You need to consume them without oil, so the market road appeared to you like me. In particular, you can sweeten yogurt with lemon peel.

Yoghurts with 0-fat fruit are also allowed, provided that it is a small box 2 times a day.

Ninth Category: 1.5 Liters of Fluid Per Day

This is the only mandatory category, 1,5 liters of liquid must be consumed. We do this in order not to pause the diet, to prevent possible constipation and not to stop the excretory system.

These liquids include mineral water and zero-sugar drinks.

Tenth Category: Oat Bran

1.5 Tablespoons of Oat Bran a day, the reason why it is important is that as soon as it reaches the stomach, it absorbs more than 25 times water and creates a feeling of satiety.

I haven't received it yet, I will be ordering soon. In fact, it is highly recommended for breakfast.

Extras:

  • You can use skimmed milk in sauces, tea and coffee.
  • Those who need Aspartame as a sweetener can use it, but I don't think to use it because of cancer-related rumors.
  • Vinegar, aromatic herbs (parsley, tarragon, dill, etc.), thyme, garlic, onions, etc. spices
  • Pickled cucumbers and onions (without exaggeration)
  • Limon
  • Salt and mustard (without exaggeration)
  • Diet Ketchup (I haven't seen it in the market, but if there is, it's super)
  • Chewing gum
  • Paraffin Oil (very few are free to prepare sauces, but I don't know of a place that sells it)

Since the attack phase consists of these foods, I don't think it will affect me much because the time is short.

There is some advice for this phase of the book.

  1. Eat as often as you want.
  2. Never skip meals
  3. Make sure the food is on the list before consuming it.
  4. There is also a 20-minute walk.

This is the case, since my wife does not need a diet, all the pastries will continue to bake, but I will not eat them. For this reason, I will not make victims of those who do not diet.
