A sunny and pleasant Sunday. I haven't been out of the house for the past few days. I started spring cleaning instead. I think I'm getting more out of this cleaning job than I'm getting outside. I've already removed some of the winter coats, only the summer ones have been removed and placed. I take the pain out of my recent hustle and bustle by taking care of my home. I've completed a lot of my missions anyway :)

Almost all preparations and connections have been completed 1 week before the Barbie doll party. So a cheerful Saturday is waiting for us.

grains of rice

A delicious recipe for this Sunday is tomato rice. Here is my pilaf, which I prepared before and had the opportunity to share. Bon appetit right now.

Love…

Ingredients for Tomato Rice Recipe

  • 2 cups of rice
  • 3 medium tomatoes
  • 3 cups hot broth
  • 2 spoonful butter
  • Salt (do not add salt if using bouillon)

How to Make Tomato Rice Recipe?

  1. Wash the rice in 2-3 waters and add some salt in warm water and leave it for half an hour.
  2. Separate the stems of the tomatoes and wash them. Pass the washed tomatoes through the rondo.
  3. Take the butter in the pan and melt it first, then add the tomatoes and fry them until their juices are gone.
  4. Add the drained rice to the tomatoes that absorb the juice and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the broth and salt to the roasted rice and mix it 1-2 times.
  6. Cook on medium heat and then on low heat until the water is absorbed. Before removing from the stove, mix it once more and lay a towel on it.
  7. Close the lid and let it rest for 10 minutes. After your rice is brewed, it is ready to serve.

In order to avoid the raw smell and taste, you can get a better result if you fry the tomatoes with olive oil in a separate pan beforehand, add them to the rice you roast in butter, mix for a minute or two, then add the water and cook it :)

I think it's because of the rice. Some rice can take more water depending on its type and want to be cooked for a longer time.

I also used blion instead of broth, first it felt a little raw, I added a little more water and wrapped it in a blanket to infuse when the water was gone. I make the pilaf in advance, wrap it with a blanket and keep it waiting. Normally it is good, I hope it will be good. My aunt made the same and served it with mint. I recommend it. I hope it was good. Thanks for the healthy recipe
