Schnitzel with Tomato Sauce

In our competition held on February 19-20, Habibe Savun won the Hotpoint Tea Maker and Toaster by finding the most creative name for our recipe, with the name "Chicken Parem".
Our romantic and attractive chicken contains many flavors. Thanks to the breads we toast, we do not have to wait for the bread to go stale and we do not have to use ready-made breadcrumbs.
It can be a great dinner thanks to a practical salad you can prepare with it :) It can be easily prepared on special occasions for chicken-loving spouses.

Ingredients for Schnitzel with Tomato Sauce
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 cup flour (flavored with salt and pepper)
- 1 large eggs
- 6-7 thinly sliced stale bread
- 50 gr cheddar cheese
- 50 grams of freshly grated parmesan
For Tomato Sauce:
- 2 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 small onion
- 1 cloves of garlic
- 4 medium tomatoes
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- half a cup of water
For the garnish:
- fresh basil or parsley
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 cups of oil (for frying)
How To Make Schnitzel With Tomato Sauce?
- Put the tomatoes, onions and garlic in the bowl of the Hotpoint Multifunctional Hand Blender and close the lid and mash until it reaches a puree consistency.
- Take the olive oil in the pan, add the puree and water to it and cook by mixing until the water is absorbed. Season with salt and pepper and remove from the heat.
- Preheat the oven at 200 degrees. Open the chicken breast, which you took out of the refrigerator at least an hour ago, to form a heart shape and thinly beat it lightly. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Toast the breads in a Hotpoint Ariston Toaster, be careful that the slices are thin so that they don't get color but dry out.
- When the breads cool down, thin them out with the blender's chopping attachment. Brush both sides of the chicken with the flour, then the egg, and finally the breadcrumbs.
- Fry the chickens you have paneled until both sides are golden brown (about 1-2 minutes per side).
- Transfer the fried meat to the baking paper and top it with tomato sauce, a slice of cheddar cheese, salt, pepper and a tablespoon of parmesan.
- Bake the meat in the oven until the cheese melts (about 5-7 minutes). Serve the meat out of the oven, garnished with basil or parsley leaves.
