Slice Orange Jam
Hello Dear Friends,
Orange jam, one of the indispensable flavors of the winter months, is one of my favourites. When fresh fragrant oranges fill the stalls, the first thing that comes to mind is the Sunday breakfasts we had as a family.
Today is a different marmalade I have a recipe for you. An excellent recipe that my aunt has been preparing for years and that we love very much. This recipe takes an average of 1 day to prepare, but the result and service are great.
Normally I have been making orange jam from the peel for years. This time, a full orange jam with both the inside, the peel and the juice awaits you.
As I always say, I like jam a little runny, but this recipe is a great option for those who like thick jams.
It is important to boil it well so that the bitterness of the crusts comes off and does not harden as it boils. If it is too soft, it will fall apart while cooking, if it is boiled a little, it will become harder than necessary because it will boil with sugar. If you are going to boil it in a pressure cooker, you need to cook it for 10 minutes after the whistle blows, and if you are going to boil it in a normal pot, you need to cook it for 40 minutes after boiling.
Love…
