At the end of our holiday, which included Altınoluk, Akçay, Assos and Ayvalık, I met many new flavors. Since I haven't had the opportunity to sit down and write about our holiday yet, I decided to share a quick recipe. (Unfortunately, it takes longer because I want the holiday notes to be very detailed)

The first recipe that I will share with you among the flavors I like is Sea Bean Salad.

At first, it tastes a bit like sea beans, but it is lighter and less salty. Its preparation is like sea cowpea, but it is much more practical since it is not awned. In addition, a mixed herb salad mixed with different herbs and served hot or cold is made in Ayvalık cuisine.

Ingredients for Sea Bean Salad Recipe

  • 1 bunch of sea beans
  • 1-2 medium tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • olive oil
  • water to boil
  • half a lemon

How to Make Sea Bean Salad Recipe?

1. Wash the sea beans and cut off the stems, if any. Boil 2 liters of water in a large pot and boil the beans for 8-10 minutes by throwing them into the water.
2. Take the cooked sea beans from the pot with the help of a colander and let them drain. (If you want the color to stay green, throw it into cold water as soon as it is filtered)
3. Take the seeds of the tomatoes, add them to the beans after chopping.
4. Prepare the salad dressing by mixing olive oil with crushed garlic and lemon juice.
5. Serve by mixing the boiled sea beans with the sauce.
