Ingredients for Dalyan Meatballs Recipe

Meatball Mortar:

  • 500 g minced lamb
  • 1 slice of stale bread + half a cup of warm water for soaking
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 pieces of eggs
  • black pepper, salt
  • 1 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg for brushing

For inside:

  • 2 boiled carrots
  • 2 hard boiled eggs
  • optionally 1 cup of boiled peas

For the tomato sauce:

  • 2 spoonful butter
  • 1 meal spoon tomato paste
  • half a glass of water

How to Make Dalyan Meatballs Recipe?

  1. Put the minced meat in the mixing bowl. Wet 1 slice of bread with water, squeeze when soft and add to the ground meat.
  2. Add grated onion, egg, parsley and spices and knead well.
  3. Grease the baking tray, spread the prepared meatballs on the tray. Place the boiled carrots that you cut into thin lengths, all the eggs you boiled and peeled, and the peas you have boiled, on the length of the ground meat you spread. Roll the meat and brush 1 beaten egg on it.
  4. Bake in a preheated 170 degree oven for 30 minutes.
  5. Cook the necessary ingredients for the tomato paste sauce in the pan by mixing it. Feed the meatballs by pouring the sauce you prepared on the meatballs in the oven and cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Slice and serve with mashed potatoes.
