Cornbread
Next up is a great cornbread. So much so that even those who don't like cornbread can enjoy it. I am sure you will like it very much with its cakey texture and slightly sugary taste.
Now you have to strictly comply with the gram measurements I used while making this bread. For those who say that liquid measurements are not grams, but milligrams, the measurements I give are definitely grams, so you should weigh liquids as well.
While baking the cornbread, put a heatproof bowl of water in the oven. This water will moisten the air inside the oven.
Those who say they want the recipe measurements as cups and spoons You can try to translate from here.

Ingredients for Cornbread Recipe
- 2 pieces of eggs
- 365 g milk
- 34 g oil
- 180 g flour
- 180 g cornmeal
- 1,5 pack of baking powder (15 g)
- 5 g salt
- 40 gr granulated sugar
Fabrication:
- Weigh the corn flour, flour, baking powder, salt and granulated sugar and put them together in a deep bowl.
- Weigh the milk and oil and put them in the same container. Crack 2 eggs into it and whisk well.
- Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Line a 22 cm ovenproof tray with greaseproof paper.
- Put water in a heatproof bowl in the oven preheated to 170 degrees and wait for the oven to heat up again.
- Pour the bread dough onto the tray on which you have greased paper. Bake for about 30 minutes until browned and bubbly.
- Before taking it out of the oven, check if it is cooked inside by inserting a knife or skewer. (if the skewer comes out dry, it's cooked)
- Take the baked bread out of the oven and let it cool before removing it from the tray. Take the cooled bread out of the tray and take the greaseproof paper.
- Slice and serve.
Hi ,
I've always expected a good recipe. Thank you. I'll try your recipe today. I'll take it easy. I wish you a good day.. :)
Thank you very much for the recipe. I hope I will make it today. I've already tried many recipes on the site. They were all very good. I'm not surprised by the comments here. love
Ms. Nilay,
I applied the measurements you gave exactly, the result is perfect as always.. I want to thank you for the recipes, thank you for your efforts.. Love..
Hello. I don't have a gram measuring cup. Everything in the house measures ml.
So I went with the average size but when everything was mixed it felt too liquid to me. Liquid than cake consistency. So I added some more cornmeal. :) I am happy to make cornmeal bread at home. It was also soft and delicious for my 2,5 year old son. Thanks.
A small and affordable scale for gram measurements will come in handy. Thus, you can prepare full recipes with measurements. I'm glad you like it. love.
Hi nilay, I made your recipe, but my cornbread was cakey, is it the original or I couldn't make it. Also, 5 gr salt makes a dessert spoon, it was too salty for me, I used my classic round borscht as a tray. I also published it on my blog, if you review my blog and direct me, I would appreciate it easy success.
Hello, lady hacerd, each dessert spoon may not be the same size. Your dessert spoon is taking too much, because the salt in the bread is just right. When trying these types of full-scale recipes, I recommend using a kitchen scale. Finally, the texture of the bread is cakey. love.
Hello,
If dill and zucchini are put into this recipe, will it lose its consistency? It goes very well with cornbread.
If you dry it well after washing and add it, it will not be a problem.
I'm 10 years old I tried your recipe, it's very successful. My father helped with the cooking. Thanks
I tried this recipe and the result was better than I expected. Whoever ate it asked for the recipe, thank you very much
good luck to you :)
This recipe is exactly the kind of cake I've been making for years. I don't mind, I still make it by weighing it. I love such gram recipes so much that I can't get it right.
Miss Nilay,
The recipe is very nice, but it would be great if you give it in units of measurement such as spoons and glasses instead of grams so precise.
Hello, there is a link to the cup size table in the cover letter of the recipe. You can customize it from there. I don't think you can achieve the same recipe with water glass measurements. For this reason, if you want to try it even though I do not recommend it, you can benefit from those measurements.
it's awesome
You can estimate the cup sizes here.

How can we make this recipe in the machine
I was amazed (!) by the weights in the measurements...
These are the dimensions required for 22 tray of 1 cm. A small scale will do the trick.
