Hello Friends,

Our 10-day holiday, covering the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, is over. Before returning to Istanbul, we stopped by the cottage one last time. Here we will get rid of the tiredness of the road and go home. When I gave a lot of space between the recipes, I ate in Muğla again and couldn't get enough of it. Gypsy Rice I wanted to share the recipe with you as soon as I prepared it. Don't look, it's called pilaf, it doesn't contain rice or bulgur. gypsy rice or gypsy rice A great recipe made with cottage cheese. Its preparation varies according to many places, but the contents are usually the same.

Some add cucumbers in it, which I don't think is very good. Some people substitute fresh mint for parsley. Green pepper can be added upon request. I think it is a very practical and delicious recipe that you can prepare according to your taste.

Ingredients for Gypsy Rice Recipe

  • 2 cups of curd
  • 1 medium tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2-3 pinches of chopped parsley
  • Red pepper
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • Green olives (optional)

How to Make Gypsy Rice Recipe?

  1. Chop the onion piyaz. Separate the stems of the parsley and finely chop the leaves.
  2. Chop the tomato into cubes.
  3. Mix the buckwheat with the cayenne pepper and chopped parsley. Add salt and onion and mix again.
  4. Transfer the mixture you prepared to the serving plate. Add tomatoes and green olives on top.
  5. Finally, serve with lots of olive oil.
