Hello Dear Friends,

This cake, which I made as a guest cake last night, was very popular. It is neither too sweet nor too tasteless, neither too soft nor too full. I think it was a perfect cake. One of the best parts of this recipe is that you can separate 1 glass of the cake batter, cook it again with a little milk and make a simple sauce with the addition of chocolate.

gravy cake

Of course, since there is a lot of coconut in it, the view both inside and outside is very beautiful.

As always, I used milk couverture chocolate, but if you want a darker look, you can use dark couverture and dark cocoa.

As I always say in couverture chocolate, you will be very comfortable if you buy 1 kilo of coin couverture instead of a large mold. It is easy to store and weighs when you need it. You can even make money with a cup account.

Love…

How to Make Chocolate Coconut Cake Recipe?

  1. Take 1,5 cups of milk in a small saucepan, add cocoa to it, whisk and heat until it reaches boiling point.
  2. Remove the heated milk from the heat and add the chocolate, mix until the chocolate melts and set aside to cool.
  3. Take the eggs into the mixer bowl, add the granulated sugar and beat until the sugar melts and the eggs become foamy.
  4. Add the liquid oil and chocolate milk mixture and continue whisking.
  5. Add flour, baking powder, vanilla and nutmeg and mix. (Set aside 1 cup for the sauce)
  6. Grease the cake mold, pour the cake mix into the mold and bake in the oven preheated to 185 degrees for 26-30 minutes.
  7. While the cake is baking, put the mixture you have reserved for the sauce in the sauce pan. Add milk into it and bring to a boil while stirring. Cover the boiling sauce and add the chocolates and mix until melted.
  8. Let the cake out of the oven rest for 5 minutes and carefully remove it from the mold. Drizzle the sauce you prepared on top with the help of a spoon.
  9. Slice and serve when cool.

hello, I tried your recipe, it was very delicious; Thank you for your sharing; but I couldn't get a rough exterior as seen in the picture. Did you use an ingredient not in the recipe? Or did I do something wrong? :)
