Today, we will talk about fondue, which sweetens our afternoons or evenings in every season. First, let's talk about what we can use as a fondue set. You can use porcelain, Teflon or a glass fondue set like I used. But if you don't have a fondue set, you can serve your fondue using a heat-resistant porcelain bowl.

Chocolate Fondue

When I was buying my fondue set, I researched a lot, instead of buying something elegant but expensive, I made a more suitable choice that would do the same. The glass fondue set is stylish as well as affordable (Esse).

You can make your fondue with either dark or milk chocolate. If you like milk like me, but if you have dark chocolate at home, you can add cream and milk to soften the taste and lighten the color. If you like the taste of bitter chocolate, you can use as much chocolate as in the recipe and add only milk or only cream to get a darker and harder consistency.

As I said, there is no season to make fondue, you can serve fondue with seasonal fruits, cookies, marshmallows or crackers. You can add lemon or orange zest or even liqueur.

When you melt the chocolate in this way, does it become crunchy on the fruits or does it have a soft chocolate consistency?
