Chocolate Madeleine Cake
Hello Dear Friends,
I've been wanting to make a Madeleine cake for a long time. In fact, it has been almost 2 years since I got my silicone cake molds. When I saw the madeleine cakes on the site prepared for World Baking Day, I rolled up my sleeves saying today is the day. There is cane sugar in the original recipe, but since I have never used it before, I replaced this ingredient with powdered sugar.
If you like dark chocolate, this is a great recipe for you, but it was a bit bitter for me. I will definitely make my next experiment with milk or white chocolate.
The original tariff can be found here and you can find inspiration for your brave one.

- Bake the chocolate madeleines for about 8-10 minutes, take them out of the oven and let them cool.
- Remove the cooled cakes from the mold and serve.
WOULD IT BE IN A NORMAL MUFFIN CAKE MOLD?
Since I found the amount of ingredients to be low, especially thinking of my 1,5-year-old son who will eat madeleine cakes, I added an extra 1 egg, 3/4 glass of milk, 20gr more powdered sugar and 1 spoon of honey to the ingredients to soften the cake consistency… Result; great. I got a medium hard cake that can be eaten by children and a very delicious taste :) Thank you for your recipe…
