Chocolate Coconut Cake
Hello Dear Friends,
This cake, which I made as a guest cake last night, was very popular. It is neither too sweet nor too tasteless, neither too soft nor too full. I think it was a perfect cake. One of the best parts of this recipe is that you can separate 1 glass of the cake batter, cook it again with a little milk and make a simple sauce with the addition of chocolate.
Of course, since there is a lot of coconut in it, the view both inside and outside is very beautiful.
As always, I used milk couverture chocolate, but if you want a darker look, you can use dark couverture and dark cocoa.
As I always say in couverture chocolate, you will be very comfortable if you buy 1 kilo of coin couverture instead of a large mold. It is easy to store and weighs when you need it. You can even make money with a cup account.
Love…

- 1,5 water glass milk
- 150 g milk couverture chocolate
- Half a glass of oil
- 2,5 water glass flour
- 1 cup grated coconut
- 1 package baking powder
- 1 packet of vanillin with sugar
- 2 soup spoons of cocoa
For the sauce:
- 1 cup of cake mix (we will separate before baking)
- half a glass of milk
- 100 g couverture chocolate
Fabrication:
- Take 1,5 cups of milk in a small saucepan, add cocoa to it, whisk and heat until it reaches boiling point.
- Remove the heated milk from the heat and add the chocolate, mix until the chocolate melts and set aside to cool.
- Take the eggs into the mixer bowl, add the granulated sugar and beat until the sugar melts and the eggs become foamy.
- Add the liquid oil and chocolate milk mixture and continue whisking.
- Add flour, baking powder, vanilla and nutmeg and mix. (Set aside 1 cup for the sauce)
- Grease the cake mold, pour the cake mix into the mold and bake in the oven preheated to 185 degrees for 26-30 minutes.
- While the cake is baking, put the mixture you have reserved for the sauce in the sauce pan. Add milk into it and bring to a boil while stirring. Cover the boiling sauce and add the chocolates and mix until melted.
- Let the cake out of the oven rest for 5 minutes and carefully remove it from the mold. Drizzle the sauce you prepared on top with the help of a spoon.
- Slice and serve when cool.
