Happy holidays in advance!

How to Make a Nightingale's Nest with Walnut Recipe?

  1. For the syrup, put the water and sugar in the pot. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until it boils. Cook on low heat until the syrup thickens (15-20 minutes).
  2. Add the lemon juice and cook for 1 more minute, stirring, remove from the heat and leave to cool.
  3. Take the yoghurt and margarine at room temperature into the kneading bowl. Add baking soda and lemon juice to it. (Add the lemon juice to the baking soda and make it foam)
  4. Add 4 cups of flour to the kneading bowl and knead until you get a soft dough that does not stick to the bowl.
  5. Divide the dough you prepared into two equal parts, cover it with a cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  6. Roll out the first piece on a lightly floured counter to 1 cm thick. Cut circles with the help of 1 tea glass and put them on the greased baking tray.
  7. Roll out the second dough to a thickness of 1 cm on the lightly floured counter. Cut circles with the help of 1 teaspoon. Cut the middle of them into circles with a plastic bottle cap and place them on the circles you took on the baking tray.
  8. Crack the walnuts by hand. Place in the circular pits on the desserts.
  9. Sprinkle cinnamon on the desserts and bake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees until lightly browned (approximately 20 minutes).
  10. Pour the completely cooled syrup on the hot desserts you bought from the oven.
  11. Let the desserts cool for 2-3 hours and serve.

If you follow the gram measurements exactly, you will not have any problems. Cup sizes can vary in every house, and this may be the source of the problem.

I made the recipe for my friends the other day. They all liked it. A really light and delicious dessert. I used hazelnuts as there were no walnuts at home.

Friends, I prepared the dessert exactly as described. I say that such a light and such an assertive dessert can not be. Incredibly easy! On the 3rd day they asked again, I made it from ordinary margarine at home, it was still very good. I say you should definitely try it. :)
