Ingredients for Çaykama Pastry Recipe
- 4 water glass flour
- 3-3,5 glasses of water
- 1 sweet spice salt
- 300 g mixed Aegean herbs (tangle, goosefoot, poppy, curry)
- 150-200 g cheddar curd
- olive oil
- butter to grease the baking dish
How to Make Çaykama Pastry Recipe?
- Wash the herbs well, let them drain and chop them.
- Mix flour, water and salt thoroughly.
- Grease the baking tray with butter. Pour half of the dough mixture into the bowl and spread. Drizzle with some olive oil.
- Sprinkle the chopped herbs on the dough. Sprinkle the cheddar curd in the same way and pour the remaining dough over it.
- Drizzle with some more olive oil and bake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 55-60 minutes.
- Serve by slicing.
