Hello Dear Friends,

I shared the first version of this recipe on my blog in 2011. It has since been tried and loved so much that I wanted to make a video about this easy and delicious cookie. This recipe, which we prepared with vegetable oil, needs to be kept in the refrigerator for a while. I normally rest it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, but this time, since I have a shot, 30 minutes in the freezer was enough for it to recover.

Ingredients for the Crackle Cookie Recipe

  • 2 water glass flour
  • 2 pieces of eggs
  • 1 package baking powder
  • Half a glass of granulated sugar
  • salt with the tip of 1 teaspoon
  • Half a glass of oil
  • 1 packaged vanilla
  • 1 coffee cup of cocoa
  • Half a glass of powdered sugar for icing the cookies

Fabrication:

  1. Take all the ingredients except the powdered sugar into the mixing bowl, knead until all the ingredients are well mixed.
  2. After a while, the dough will start to fall apart in your hand and will release its oil. In this case, do not add any extra flour.
  3. Gather the dough and wrap it in cling film, put a plate under it and rest in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours, if possible 1 night.
  4. Take the powdered sugar on a plate. Take some small pieces of walnut from the rested dough, roll them in your hand and dust them with powdered sugar. Place them on the baking tray 2-3 cm apart.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
