Hello Dear Friends,

For the July issue, I prepared and photographed 5 practical and delicious recipes for Sofra Magazine. One of these recipes is Summer Salad with Bulgur. I added a little bit of all the greens I like. A mixture of basil, dill, parsley and mint brings a summer mood to your table :)

Ingredients for Bulgur Summer Salad Recipe

  • 1 cup bulgur wheat
  • 2 water glass of water
  • 5-6 sprigs of fresh mint
  • 5-6 sprigs of dill
  • quarter bunch of parsley
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 4-5 stalks basil
  • 3-4 tablespoons of boiled corn kernels
  • salt
  • olive oil
  • juice of half a lemon
  • pomegranate

How to Make Bulgur Summer Salad Recipe?

  1. Put the bulgur in the pot, add some salt and olive oil on it. Add hot water and cook on medium heat until the water is absorbed. When the water is removed, let it rest with the lid closed until it cools down.
  2. Finely chop the mint, dill, parsley and basil.
  3. Finely chop the tomatoes and cucumbers.
  4. Add all the ingredients to the cooled bulgur. Add salt, olive oil, lemon juice and pomegranate syrup and mix.
  5. Salad is ready to serve. Enjoy your meal.
